I'm sick of waiting for karma. Karma can suck it.

Summary:

Three very different girls who want the same thing: sweet, sweet revenge. And they won't stop until they each had a taste.

Review:

If I were to acknowledge every note I made while reading this book, I would have given it a 1 star rating. On the other hand, if I think about how I basically devoured this book in one sitting and was on the edge of my seat the entire time, I would have to give it 5 blazing stars.

So, because my sweet tooth is at war with my common sense, I have decided to leave this book unrated.

__________

I. Hated. Every. Single. Character. Every last one.

(Except not so much Mary because.. well, after you learn about what happened to her how could you judge her?!)

I could not stand their drama, petty, two-faced, bitchy, asshole, hooking up, drinking/smoking/drug filled behavior. These wonderful traits can be associated with all of the characters

(Except Mary because.. well, does she do anything. Really?!)

In the end, though, I loved this book.

After ignoring all my problems with the characters, I found that the story was just too suspenseful to pass up. The reasons for the girls wanting to get revenge were pretty understandable, too. Lillia wants to get back at Alex for messing with her little sister.Mary wants to get back at Reeve for tormenting her. Kat wants to get back at Rennie for the back-stabbing.

Overall, this book, along with the Pretty Little Liars series, will be my forever guilty pleasure. I couldn't stand it because of the characters, but I loved it because of the story.

  1. Sounds interesting, but since you didn't like the characters, I don't think that I want to read it. If I don't like the characters, then I will stop reading a book, no matter how much I want to know what will happen with the story.

    Thanks for the honest review.
